Gotta let it burn...
I make mistakes. I have regrets. I hate being alone. I'm always late. I hate school. I never call anyone back. I don't like being wrong. I'm a huge procrastinator. I act like I'm a lot tougher than I am. I hate being ignored. I cry a lot. I get annoyed by people too easily. I have enemies. I can't sing. I have horrible balance. I laugh really obnoxiously. I can't trust anyone with my life. Many things just seem to get to me. I'm not perfect. But the beauty of it all is that I don't care.

Dear Heavenly Father,
You know my friend/family member so much better than I do. You know his/her sickness and the burden he carries. You also know his heart. Lord, I ask you to be with my friend now as you work in his life. Lord, let your will be done in my friend's life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, please help him to see his need and confess.
Lord, I pray for my friend just as your Word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe you hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of your promise. I have faith in you, Lord, to heal my friend, but I also trust in the plan you have for his life.
Lord, I don't always understand your ways. I don't know why my friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish his spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort him with your presence.
Let my friend know you are there with him through this difficulty. Give him strength. And may you, through this difficulty, be glorified in his life and also in mine.
In Jesus Name I pray,
Amen.

We are all a volume on a shelf of a library,
a story unto ourselves, never possibly described
with one word or even very accurately with thousands.
A person is never as quiet or unrestrained as they seem,
or as bad or good, as vulnerable or as strong, as sweet or
as feisty; we are thickly layered, page upon lying page,
behind simple covers. And love - it is not the book itself,
but the binding. It can rip us apart or hold us together.

Changes are being made.
Our Bible is real, our humanity is flawed, and our hearts are forgiven. Every time I think about that, it sets me on fire. I love this world for every imperfection the enemy tries to place in it and for ever ounce of hope shown through it.

Randomness.
I miss my hamster. His name was Honey.
I didn't write this, I found it.
You know what's wrong with you, Miss Whoever-you-are? You're chicken, you've got no guts. You're afraid to stick out your chin and say, "Okay, life's a fact, people do fall in love, people do belong to each other, because that's the only chance anybody's got for real happiness." You call yourself a free spirit, a "wild thing," and you're terrified somebody's gonna stick you in a cage. Well baby, you're already in that cage. You built it yourself. And it's not bounded in the west by Tulip, Texas, or in the east by Somali-land. It's wherever you go. Because no matter where you run, you just end up running into yourself.
This, is beautiful.
